Then, we’ll perform a gentle exam, count and clean their teeth, and provide you with an oral health plan. During the appointment, we’ll also discuss future treatment, visits, and how to develop good oral health habits at home.

We know that, especially for younger patients, oral care can be difficult to complete. Risk for developing cavities is higher for those susceptible to tooth decay. Dental sealants offer additional protection in teeth with very deep pits and cracks, including molars. Sealants use a composite resin mixture applied to teeth, which is then hardened using a special curing light. After application, your teeth can be protected for up to 10 years.
